I am giving the book “Intentional” 4.5 stars. It had romance and suspense that kept me guessing towards the end. Mattie and Jeremy fell madly in love with one another, but when she finds him in bed with someone else, she decides to make the ultimate move and wouldn’t tell him where she was going. He felt he was the blame or was he? In the mean time she, moved to Seattle and met a hunk—Cade. He was sweet and felt a connection for her instantly.
Nine percent into the book I wondered if Mattie could trust her friend, Sarah. She seemed to sabotage Mattie’s relationships. Well, my question was answered much later.
By the end of the story, I found myself aching for Cade—tattoo guy. I loved the way Mattie and his “almost-dating friendship,” as they called it, developed. He was a very well developed side character. But don’t cry for Cade. There is hope for him yet. Overall, the story was successful. Mattie and Jeremy's love overcame tumultuous times. Nothing could stop the feelings they had for one another. This was a true love story without all the explicitly sexual details. It was a sensational read.
